Internationally renowned session stylist Nicolas Jurnjack has launched a brand new education website in four languages: English, Français, Español, Portugues.
Covering everything from the right tools to use for a bouncy blow dry, to colouring tips for the seasoned stylist, hairbynicolasjurnjack.com acts as an inspiration and learning hub for hairdressers (and home enthusiasts) of all abilities.
Tutorials are divided into four categories – amateur, beginner, intermediate and advanced – based on the level of expertise needed to carry out the techniques. New learning materials are added to the site every month under two different guide sections: ‘Style’ houses detailed how-to tutorials and ‘Texture’ contains step-by-step breakdowns of how to create specific looks.
A visual hair tool glossary is also available, along with a collection of inspirational materials curated by Jurnjack, titled ‘Project Hair’. These include editorial hair images that have been shaped by culture, nature or art and shot in innovative and unusual ways.
“I wanted to create this website for anyone and everyone – not just professional hairdressers,” said Jurnjack. “Most of us like to experiment with hair, but with so many techniques, tools and products, it’s difficult to know where to start. I’m hoping these tutorials will encourage people to try out different adventures with their hair.”
